Closing Date for all deposit - May 31, 2009 11.59pm
# my-Kart has to pay CK on June 01, 2009 for the event. So we would appreciate if all the deposits are done on time. Thank you.

Option 1. Pay to my-Kart Treasurer in Person - On Round 5, May 2nd, to the authorised my-KART committee member (to be confirmed later). (Azlan won't be at Round 5). Physical RECEIPTS will be issued on the spot for this option - Please ensure you get the receipt as proof of payment, if not, you will not be registered for the event. "no receipt number = no racing"...
Option 2. Bank in to my-Kart account (MAYBANK 512754306333 (mykart Promotions Sdn Bhd)) and email the bank-in slip to Azlan (shahrulazlan@gmail.com). Receipts - we will update receipt number online, and issue all physical receipts during Round 6 in June for all payments via this option.
Note - Those not attending Round 5 (May-2) can only pay via option 2.

| How to Secure Your Seat for the Enduro |
# Please read carefully to see which category that you fit in.
Category I
Existing K1 drivers Entering 125cc
Drivers will need to pay RM175 (50% of the race cost) to secure your seat. my-Kart will use the RM600 deposit from the Driver Series as the deposit. Driver can choose to pay the balance on race day or earlier.
Category II
Existing K1 drivers Entering 100cc
Drivers will need to pay RM150 (50% of the race cost) to secure your seat. my-Kart will use 50% of the RM600 deposit from the Driver Series as the deposit. Driver can choose to pay the balance on race day or earlier.
Category III
Existing K2 drivers Entering 125cc
Drivers will need to pay RM300 (balance for RM600 deposit) to secure your seats. Driver can choose to pay the race cost on race day or earlier.
Category IV
Existing K2 drivers Entering 100cc
Drivers will need to pay RM150 (50% of the race cost) to secure your seat. my-Kart will use the RM300 deposit from the Driver Series as the deposit. Driver can choose to pay the balance on race day or earlier.
Category V
Existing K3 drivers or non my-Kart members
# Please take note that drivers in this category can only race in the 100cc category. Drivers will need to pay RM300 to secure your seats. Driver can choose to pay the race cost on race day or earlier.
All drivers in this category will have to come for a pre-race(*1) under their own expenses for safety purposes. Those who failed to attend the pre-race will not be allow to participate on race day.

The pre-race is an full race simulation under the driver's expenses. Drivers will race for 8 laps (approximate 10 minutes). This is to check if the drivers are capable of driving the 100cc karts. For drivers who has not driven a 100cc or 125cc kart before, it is advisable to practice under the driver's expenses before the pre-race. The pre-race date, soon to be confirm.
| Other Information |
1. For any driver that cannot attend the race without an acceptable reason, my-Kart will forfeit RM30 from the deposit.
2. All damage to the kart are the responsible of the driver.
3. There are 2 spare karts for each category. Spare karts are given to the driver following first come first serve basis.
4. Drivers can only change to a spare kart if the fault is due to engine or mechanical failure.
5. Drivers cannot change to a spare kart if the fault is due to any accident.
6. You are allowed to have a spare driver (the share of the racing cost is up to your personal discussion with the other driver) to help you race in the 10 Laps Sprint ONLY.

1. The spare driver is only allow to enter the Sprint Race.
2. The primary driver can now choose to either race both feature and sprint race on his/her own or to have a spare driver - just in case he/she is too tired to race the Sprint Race themselves.
3. As for the trophies, there are only 12 trophies. 3 for Feature Race 100cc and 125cc respectively and 3 for Sprint Race 100cc and 125cc respectively for the podium finisher. Medals for all participants. Spare drivers that did not drive will not get the medals.
4. Ballast will be use according to who is driving. So the primary driver and the spare driver will have different ballast.
5. If the spare driver is racing in the Sprint Race, and he/she wins the race, the trophy will go to the spare driver and not the primary driver.
6. The grid for Sprint Race is based on the results of the Feature Race.
7. The same kart will be use for Feature and Sprint Race, unless there are problems with the kart.
8. During the race, unless it is only engine or mechanical problem, drivers are allow to change their kart.
9. No replacement kart will be given if it was involved in an accident during race.
10. If the K1 primary driver is able to continue his/her sprint race, he/she must remain in his/her category. This also applies to the K2 primary drivers.

Cost: CK prevailing rental rate (pay your own)
Observers / Assesors : senior K1 drivers.
Note : Failure to attend this pre-race session may disqualify you from joining the Ironman race.

I have notified Azlan to get me the latest update. I am aware that couple of people paid for the race during Rd6 last week. He told me that he will get it done this weekend.
As for the ambulance issue, the person who as in charge that day on the incident, is fired. That is what I have been told by CK.
Looking at the list and after talking to Naza, there will be a pre-race on Friday (yet to be confirmed by Naza once more) at 6pm. We cannot do anything this week because Ambank has taken the weekend.
For the meantime, please check the thread often for updates. Lots of preparation is being done as we speak. So please have patience and we will try our best to make the race as competitive as we can. There are only 2 guys working and traveling to CK all the time to do the preparation and there is nothing we ask for return but your patience. Please do understand. Thank you.
